On June 1, The Royal Oak Foundation held its quarterly Board of Directors meeting in New York City, electing a new slate of officers led by new Board Chairman Lynne L. Rickabaugh. Lynne cultivates her longtime passion for the National Trust through her steadfast support of Royal Oak; she has been a Royal Oak member since 1999 and previously served on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman. Lynne fosters a particular passion for Royal Oak’s Heritage Circle and for fundraising around National Trust projects. She spearheaded our record-breaking Campaign for Knole and our Stourhead Appeal, and continues to lead the way in this year’s National Trust Furniture Appeal. She and her husband, Mark, live in Boston, Massachusetts.
Lynne is joined by fellow officers Professor Susan S. Samuelson (Vice Chairman, Boston), Michael A. Boyd (Treasurer, New York) and Renee Nichols Tucei (Secretary, Connecticut). Royal Oak is pleased to welcome this accomplished and enthusiastic set of officers and to have their leadership in the years to come.
The June 1 meeting also introduced five new Directors to the Board: Albert Messina (New York), Erwin Rezelman (New York), Eric Nilson (Cleveland), Pamela Hull (Chicago) and Diana Senior (Chicago). This group of distinguished anglophiles will bring their many talents to our organization and we are excited to welcome them to the Board.
They join the Board as four current directors see their terms come to a close: former Chairman Bruce Coleman Perkins (Washington, DC), Robin Hubbard (New York), Edward Montgomery (Philadelphia), and Brian White (Chicago). Royal Oak is deeply indebted to the service of these departing Directors and looks forward their continued engagement with our work.
