THE ROYAL OAK FOUNDATION (founded 1973)
[United States tax-exempt non-profit 501 (c) (3)] is the
American membership affiliate of The National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

MEMBERSHIP

Royal Oak Members enjoy free admission to National Trust properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland; as well as the National Trust of Scotland.

PROGRAMS

Royal Oak offers lecture programs which address the topics of art, architecture, collections, garden and landscape design, social history and conservation and preservation. Royal Oak Programs are offered seasonally in various cities throughout the United States. Many are open to the public; select Programs require membership for participation. Royal Oak also sponsors a biennial competition in the Architectural Arts and promotes scholarship through ICOMOS, Attingham Summer School and now the Damaris Horan Prize Landscape History Fellowship.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Royal Oak accepts tax deductible contributions for conservation and preservation projects adopted by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Foundation's Mission. These include areas of natural beauty, historic properties, houses and gardens primarily in Britain.
